The Platform Survivability event brings you the Innovative Survivability Solution Awards for 2010.

The Survivability Solution Awards have been created to acknowledge specific products, services or solutions that have enhanced the safety and security of service personnel operating across the globe.

The Survivability Solution Awards will take place in the evening of Wednesday 13th October 2010 during the event’s drinks reception at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

An independent panel of world leading survivability experts, chaired by Rear Admiral (Ret’d) Christopher Parry, Former Director General, Development, Concepts and Doctrine, UK, will select the winners of each category.

The awards will inspire the highest calibre of entrants and will help build awareness of your organisations’ products and services. With over 400 senior level military and industry personnel expected to attend, the awards ceremony will enable you to raise your profile within the defence community.

If your company has produced a product, service or solution that you believe could or has made a real difference to service personnel you should enter for your respective award.

There will be four categories for the award – one for each conference at the event:

Vehicle Survivability Award
Soldier Survivability Award
Aircraft Survivability Award
Ship Survivability Award

Clarion Events will present the awards to the organisations that, in view of the industry, have produced a product, service or solution that has made a real difference to service personnel in-theatre.

Panel of experts
We have brought together a broad spectrum of independent experts, who either specialise in a particular field, or who have experience and insight into different aspects of the industry. The judges will review and score all the qualifying entries and compile a short-list and an overall winner from each category.

The judges will rely exclusively on the information provided by the award entrant. Our judges will be looking to see how the product, service or solution has been a success against the objectives, taking into account how it stands out from the rest of the market. Entries will also be judged on creativity and how clear and concise the entry is. The panel will also have the right to make nominations, except those in any way connected with their own organisation, that they believe are relevant or missing from the nominations.

The deadline for entries has been extended until 10th September 2010
